Tight and sore neck or shoulders? Strain in your middle back? Pain in your lower back? Jaw pain? Headaches? All of these discomforts can originate from weakness and imbalance of the neck, back, abdominals, and shoulders. This 6-WEEK COURSE is designed to bring awareness to the interconnectedness of the "back" to the greater body as a system. We explore healthy alignment and movement of the spine, back, and shoulders, while also building strength, increasing flexibility and creating a better balance between the two. Classes will be held on Thursdays - October 21, 28, November 4, 18, December 2 & 9. We will meet from 5:00-6:00 pm. This course is for a healthy yoga student familiar with the foundations of yoga and basic yoga postures. Completion of Yoga for Brand New Beginners: Level I or equivalent is required. This course is not a therapeutic class nor does it offer rehabilitation of back injuries. This course is not for those currently experiencing discomfort due to an existing back injury or condition or in treatment for a back injury or condition.
